5/10 University of Washington visit with Branwen

 Branwen and I went out for brunch.  She brought me an early Mother’s Day gift to brighten my room.  Then

she showed me all around the school.  We started at the bookstore where I bought a purple jacket.  This is a beautiful campus and as Southern Californians always say, “Sooooo Green!”

The church is really a library.  Behind the fountain are mountains on a clear day.  UW,s are Huskies.

After a rest in my room, we went to Shuckers for dinner.  We shared 3 kinds of cold oysters, warm oysters 3 different ways, crab gratin and lobster Mac’n cheese.  

Took the train home, stopped for ice cream and B picked up her cookies and snacks from her mom.  She went home to finish an assignment and I read until bedtimes.
