9/28/2014 market, library

On Sunday the open air market near M&B is open. They have an amazing variety of stuff. A whole roast piglet:

Magic loom equipment - this was the best stand for the supplies:

Another stand had an interesting example:

Bill likes to practice his golf swing in the little park next door. (He was chased out once, he wasn't sure why.)

We had roast chicken and potatoes for lunch. We had bought them at the market.

After lunch we walked to the library. Marie wanted to check on when her books are due. They confirmed that it is a very long time because they are doing an inventory. Neighbor Francoise wants to look at them, so she will return them. The trumpeter was practicing.

There are still a few horse meat stores around.

Marie made Americanos for an aperitif.

Francoise came for dinner. We started with oysters:

Then cassoulet:

Francoise brought 3 interesting cheeses. The middle one is rum raisin.

For dessert Marie filled little pre made tart shells with lemon curd. There were more on the plate when we started.

I am not sure that the walking that I am doing is enough to counteract the food I am taking in.
