Having trouble with formatting, so going to write and then add pictures.
After an ok night's sleep (went to bed at 9:30, and woke up every hour until 3, then awake until 4, then slept until 8.) We discovered in the morning that last night was the change to daylight savings time in GB.
Ella picked us up at 12 and using her metro cards we went to F&M for tea. It was glorious and we had a lovely time. We started with Sparkling Tea (non-alcoholic, I had white and they had rosé.) we had the classic afternoon tea and then the girls had a special birthday dessert since both of them have April birthdays.
Afterwards we wandered through the tourist area, Harrod's, And Sloan Square. We took the underground back to the mall near Ella's U so we could have a small dinner at Nandos ( a chicken place with delicious African spices. Branwen remembered it from her last trip to the UK and Calder and I had found one in Melbourne. B & I took the metro BY OURSELVES the one stop back to our hotel and got back around 8). We are resting with our feet up and reading.
